Who We Are
Tyson Chavonne is a licensed North Carolina General Contractor with more than 15 years of experience in residential construction and a passion for building quality homes in his hometown of Fayetteville, North Carolina.
A Fayetteville native and graduate of Terry Sanford High School, Tyson attended Appalachian State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Construction Management.
Following college, Tyson began his career with a large regional homebuilder, starting as a Construction Superintendent and working his way up to Corporate Director of Construction. Over the course of a decade, he gained valuable experience overseeing homebuilding operations, managing construction teams, and delivering quality homes throughout the region.
In 2020, Tyson put that experience to work by establishing Tyson Chavonne Builders, LLC, with a focus on quality craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and a personalized homebuilding experience. His hands-on approach and attention to detail reflect his commitment to building homes that homeowners will enjoy for years to come.
Tyson lives in Fayetteville with his wife, Tyler, and their son, Ford. Tyler is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and Real Estate Attorney who operates her own law practice, Tyler Chavonne Law, serving clients throughout the Fayetteville area. Both share strong ties to the community and a passion for their respective professions. Outside of work, they enjoy spending time together as a family at Holden Beach, attending live music events, and cheering on the Atlanta Braves.

Drawing on his extensive experience, industry knowledge, and longstanding relationships within the local construction community, Tyson Chavonne Builders specializes in single-lot residential development and new home construction throughout Fayetteville, with a particular focus on the city's established and historic neighborhoods. Tyson combines the proven processes and efficiencies of a high-volume builder with the personal attention, flexibility, and craftsmanship of a smaller, locally owned company.
Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach to new construction, Tyson recognizes that every neighborhood has its own architectural character, history, and sense of place. Each project is thoughtfully planned to complement its surroundings, balancing the comfort and functionality of modern construction with an appreciation for the character of Fayetteville's established communities.
Home Builders Association
Tyson Chavonne Builders is a proud member of the Home Builders Association of Fayetteville and served on it's Board of Directors from 2022-2024. HBAF's mission is to serve, advocate, and promote the local building and development industries while fostering unity between members, government and the community.
